Scholarship Description: |
The purpose of the Hagan Scholarship is to provide each scholarship recipient with the opportunity to obtain a four year college education and graduate debt free. Qualifications and requirements for this scholarship include:
*You must be a resident of an eligible state (Iowa is an eligible state), *Must have attended as a junior and senior an eligible high school, *Must be a student in the 2013 high school graduating class, *Must have a 3.50 gpa or higher, * Must score 23 or higher on the ACT, *Must enroll in college the first semester after high school, *FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be less than $10,000, *Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants, *Must not have been convicted of a felony. Subject to HSF approval, a scholarship recipient may attend ANY four (4) year accredited college or university in the United States. The scholarship for the class of 2014 may be downloaded after September 1, 2013. The scholarship application package must be mailed to HSF by November 15, 2013. |
